"Mustang Saviors" Screening For National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month - October 11
September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and veterans will ride 20 mile on horseback through Kentucky on September 25 and Illinois on October 11 to commemorate the number of veterans lives lost — 20 veterans and active service members are lost to suicide daily — and shine a light on the ways mental health can be improved through equine-assisted services.
EQUUS Film & Arts Fest is proud to present "Mustang Saviors" by filmmaker David Glossberg.
An inspiring documentary about a wonderful program helping veterans using Mustang horses.
David is a filmmaker from Chicago and was encouraged to make a documentary about BraveHearts Operation Mustang™.
"When I discovered what a positive effect this program is having helping our military veterans heal from physical, mental and emotional challenges, I decided to go all in on the project, because these challenges affects so many of us, and few are aware of the problems our veterans are facing. There is a situation that is unfolding right now.
Currently, a portion of our military veterans are challenged with finding a new purpose while reintegrating back into life after their service."
